Priceline + Bidding For Travel = Huge Discounts
Most of you have probably heard of Priceline. The idea behind this site is that you can bid on hotels, flights and rental cars. However, if you are like me you likely avoided this site because you did not know what amount to bid.
Thanks to Bidding For Travel, that is no longer an issue. From this site, you can view the forums for the city you want to visit and get bid recommendations. Most people will also post what they have been successful in bidding and give you an idea of the hotel that you can expect to get. I have used this site 10 times know and have been pleased with the amount that I have saved. For me it has typically been about 35% of the normal price.
