How to convert airline and hotel points
So you have saved up all of these airline or hotel frequent flyer points, but the place you want to go to is not serviced by the hotel or airline that you currently use. What do you do.
One easy way is to try to see if you can get the points converted to an airline or hotel that does service this area. The next question is how to optimize your point transfer. The first thing I would recommend doing is to check out WebFlyer’s Mileage Converter. From this page you can pick the points program you want to switch from and the one you want to switch to and from that you are presented with a number of options that help you to best maximize your point transfer.
Without a doubt you will not be as well off as if you were to use the points you currently have. However if you are in a bind, this is likely one of the best ways you can go to maximize your transfer.
Do you have any other ideas on how to optimize point transfer? If so, let me know.
